The Era Of Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan, also known as MJ is a name which has been synonymous with the sport of basketball for many, many years now due to his extraordinary efforts on the court. If you have been following basketball, his name would be no stranger to you but if basketball isn’t your cup of tea, I am certain that you have come across the name at least once in your life. That was how famous Michael was, a name everybody knew, a household name.
Michael Jordan arrived on the NBA scene from the University of North Carolina. At first, he was a player more renown with great leaping ability and amazing dunk moves which inevitably earned him the nickname air jordan. As time goes by, Michael started varying his game by improving his jump shots and passing to make it more difficult for defenders to mark him. With that, MJ became virtually unstoppable and together with his Chicago teammates, went on to create one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history by winning 6 championships in 8 seasons.
Michael’s achievements definitely got noticed especially by huge names such as Nike which went on to create basketball shoes in honour of his name, otherwise known as air jordans. These nike air jordan were an instant hit with basketball fans all around the world with some actually believing they could play just like Mike with those shoes but unfortunately, there is only on Michael Jordan. Nevertheless, the nike air Jordan range remains in production up to this day albeit with more modernize designs. So, those of you out there, do you fancy an Air Jordan?
